EST I vs EST II: What's the Difference?
EST I and EST II serve different purposes — here's a clear breakdown of each.
EST (Egyptian Scholastic Test) is split into two distinct exams. Understanding which one applies to you — and what it covers — matters before you start preparing.
EST I
- Literacy — reading comprehension and language skills.
- Math — general quantitative reasoning.
- An optional Essay component.
EST II
- A subject-based assessment. Students choose a subject to be tested in, from options including Math, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
- TALIO's current EST offering is EST II Biology preparation — not the full EST system, and not EST I.
